Geof and Sue couldn't be more helpful - Geof cooks an excellent breakfast and Sue does a pretty mean hot stone massage too! Sue and Geof were perfect hosts - they offered us a really warm welcome, and felt completely able to come and go as we pleased. Their lovely home is so comfortable and peaceful, we felt really at ease for our whole visit. And Geof's breakfasts were a real treat! We can't wait to go back in warmer weather and enjoy bike rides around the local countryside, as recommended by Sue and Geof themselves. I've already recommended Croftside Cottage to two friends who visit West Sussex regularly and will certainly be recommending it to more! Thanks again Sue and Geof, for a perfect country break. Geoff and Sue have made us so welcome, they are the best hosts you could wish for. They gave us lots of tips about where to eat in the evenings, places to visit, including special spots only a local person would know about. I wish we could have chatted a lot more! We stayed for 3 nights in early December and the Boathouse was just the perfect environment for a relaxing break away with everything spotless and beautifully presented. All you need for self-catering is provided too including a small fridge (with a 'perfect for Ben&Jerry's' freezer compartment!) and facilities to cook stove top/microwaveable meals. Sue and Geoff are lovely people who are very warm, open and welcoming hosts - and Sue's hot stone massages are a must!!! Sue and Geoff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable regarding the area and gave good tips on places to eat and visit. Geoff and Sue were very welcoming and hospitable, and even arranged for a fridge for our use during our stay. Breakfast was delicious, and plentiful. Birdham is not far from local shops etc. Plenty of parking around in local area's.Great places to visit.So to sum up our stay at croftside. First class b&b.Geoff and Sue make you feel welcome.
