By encouraging sustainable practices we can ensure the continued enjoyment of the local environment for future generations,. Some of the steps we have taken to reduce our impact are:

  • The fitting of Low Energy Light Bulbs
  • Environmental Policy for Towels & Bedlinen
  • Using wherever possible Homemade, Organic or Free Range & Local Products
  • Use of Fairly Traded products wherever possible
  • Use of Natural & Eco- Friendly Cleaning  Products
  • Recycling  Paper,  Glass & Waste Water
  • Composting Food Waste
  • Encourage Guests to use Public Transport
  • Cavity Wall Insulation & Maximum Insulation where possible
  • Use of Recycled Glassware where possible
  • Use of Environmentally Sustainable Base Materials
  • We support & encourage the sustainability of the natural wildlife, fauna & flora of the AONB in which we live
  • We support & encourage sustainability of a local Learning Disabilities Centre by using Comestibles & Vegetables grown & produced at the Centre
    Use of email/e-commerce as much as possible to save Paper Wastage
